Terms of Service

1. The Service

HitReel processes recorded livestream videos to detect highlights, generate clips with captions and card-value overlays, and publish those clips to social media accounts you connect.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use HitReel. By using the Service you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the content you upload does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Complying with the terms of any social platforms you connect (Instagram, TikTok, X)

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not own or have rights to use
• Use HitReel to harass, defame, or harm others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
• Resell or sublicense the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the videos you upload and clips generated from them. By using HitReel you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim any ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models beyond your own account's clip generation.

6. AI-Generated Content

HitReel uses AI to detect highlights, identify trading cards, and generate captions and price overlays. AI-generated information (card identifications, market prices, captions) is provided as a best-effort estimate and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and approving generated content before publication.

7. Third-Party Services

HitReel integrates with Instagram, TikTok, X, and pricing data providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms of each respective service. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by these third-party platforms.

8. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price advertised at signup. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

9. Trial

The 7-day free trial is limited to 2 stream uploads. At the end of the trial, your account will not be charged unless you choose to subscribe.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe present risk to the Service or other users.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service, content you upload, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
